Who we are
The mission of Friends of Namibia International is to provide a platform and network for our membership - people who love Namibia - to maintain their connection to Namibia and to each other, while continuing efforts to promote meaningful and sustainable development in Namibia.
We are busy forming partnerships with NGOs and governmental organizations that already exist in Namibia. We will be developing projects with these organizations to fulfill our mission as well as running campaigns to fund these projects. We have already accomplished our first major milestone, becoming a National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) Affiliate Group!
We are a brand-new group, so there is space for you as we grow!

If you are not already a National Peace Corps Association Member you will be asked to select an optional free NPCA membership in the first drop-down menu.
Next, we encourage everyone to sign up for the “Support Friends of Namibia” membership plan in the second drop-down menu. Your $25 will help our nascent organization in meeting its next major milestone, filing for 501(c)3 nonprofit status. Whichever level of support you choose, we will make sure you get updates!

We need:
- People with experience filing for 501(c)3 nonprofit status
- People with experience in website design and/or social media
- People with time to lead a subcommittee or hold a leadership position
- Anyone with energy and love for Namibia!
